It is unclear what kind of punishment Hamilton will get, because the thinking is the FIA really hasn't set a precedent for this kind of violation, but I would argue the FIA has set a precedent when it comes to drivers, and when it comes to Hamilton he gets zero penalty. So, don't expect anything major tomorrow morning. Lewis will be given another free pass without being held responsible for breaking the rules so that he can go ahead and cruise to the championship.

The only upside is the fact this is another mistake. Another mistake on the heels of Lewis' most costly mistake of the season when he beached his car in China. Maybe this is foreshadowing future mistakes tomorrow and hopefully on Sunday by the rookie.
