Here comes the double standard
Yesterday Hamilton broke the rules was was given a slap on the wrist. The FIA will most likely say they didn't want to affect the race on the track and wanted to keep the closeness of the championship intact. This of course is nothing short of BS, and a little later today the FIA will prove my point.
Massa apparently passed a car during Saturday practice while yellow flags were out due to Kubica's stricken Sauber. In the past, this too has been penalized with a time penalty, which essentially destroys a driver's chance at a decent qualifying position. But, given the wording of the FIA, if they are to be consistent with other penalties this season (or lack thereof), Massa too, should only get a fine. But, we all know he won't get a fine. Massa will be penalized in a way that takes him right out of the picture, this, making it easier for Hamilton to achieve his goal.
This entire season smells and it just keeps on smelling.
