Coulthard proves Dennis is a liar
The latest to do so, is David Coulthard via an autobiography titled, 'It is what it is'. Coulthard drove for McLaren between 1996 and 2004.
"Dennis always has a favourite," the book reads. "The first indication of favouritism towards Mika came in Melbourne in 1996. My race engineer and Mika were discussing strategy for the race, and I was also in the conversation.
"At a certain moment the door opened and Ron Dennis came in. I got up to shake his hand, but Ron ignored me. Instead, he sat down next to Mika and said 'what's your plan for the race, boys?'
"Everyone listened to Mika's plan and Ron said 'that's fine, and what are they going to do?' My team boss referred to me as if he was talking about someone from a rival team."
This is not unlike Dennis' quote in China after Hamilton beached his car in the only gravel trap on the circuit, within the pit entrance (lol), where he said ‘We weren't racing Kimi (Raikkonen), we were basically racing Fernando'.
Ron Dennis can say what ever he wants, but his actions speak a lot louder than his words.
